Spot Metaphors

This assignment dealt with metaphors. We were given a list of 8 subjects to cross with 8 other subjects to create 8 spot metaphor illustrations using black, white, and only one spot color (same color for all illustations). Starting from the top moving left to right (1. aging with juxtapostions 2. Leadership with sequence. 3. Fear with hands. 4. Isolation with Interior. 5. Greed with Cityscape. 6. Divine with Animal. 7. Revolution with shadow. 8 Love with still life.

 

Here's my rework on the bottom left illustration. I thought by adding an actual element that would be devoured, then maybe the metaphor would be clearer. Plus all the extra debris looked cool.
